主要研究方向为光电功能高分子的可控制备、传统高分子的表面加工与改性、表面微纳结构的构筑、高分子复合膜的制备及功能化研究,以及基于上述材料在光电器件,能源存储,传感器,浸润性等领域的应用。目前已在ACS Nano,Angew. Chem. Int. Edit., Macromolecules,Nano Research, Cabron,ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces, J. Mater. Chem. C, Macromol. Rapid Commun., Sci. Rep.等国际知名学术期刊发表SCI学术论文15篇,其中第一作者4篇。另外,发表会议论文5篇,申请国家发明专利两项。
